Vee is a 12-year-old girl with a wild imagination and a love for stories, especially the ones her mother used to tell her before bed. She was always curious, always searching for hidden meanings in the world around her. Her mother, an artist, encouraged her creativity, filling their home with paintings and sketches that seemed to breathe with life.

Everything changed when her mother passed away. The world that once felt colorful and full of wonder now felt empty, muted, and unfamiliar. Her father, though trying his best, was distant, lost in his own grief. Their home, once filled with laughter and warmth, became quiet and heavy with unspoken sadness.

Vee withdrew, retreating into herself, clinging to the one thing she had left of her mother: an old locket. It was always around her mother’s neck, a simple, worn piece of jewelry, but it held a deep significance, one that Vee didn’t fully understand yet. Now, it was hers. And she never let it go.

One night, unable to sleep, she found herself tracing the locket’s edges, staring at its tiny, unopened clasp. As exhaustion took hold, the world around her shifted. The walls of her bedroom seemed to melt away, and suddenly, she was somewhere else. A dream? A nightmare? It felt too real to be either.

This is where her journey begins. A journey through the shifting landscapes of her own mind, where she must navigate the five stages of grief. Along the way, she will face illusions, fears, and memories, all while being followed by a shadowy figure that feels both terrifying and familiar. If she can confront what lies ahead, she might just find the strength to open the locket… and finally face the truth.
